Love Cherry Berry! They are probably my 2nd favorite froyo establishment in the Cedar Valley. I love that they have so many topping options including butterscotch chips & sauce! Yum! They switched out their m&ms out with these cheap knock off ones so that was kind of a bummer since m&ms tend to be on of my fave ice cream toppings but they have tons more to choose from. They also have a great rewards program that once you hit 50 Pts ($1 = 1pt) you get some free froyo oz. :)

I really enjoy this place, I was nervous to try it as to me, most frozen yogurt does have a strange after taste, usually with the real fruity flavors. However this place's does not leave a weird after taste, so far I have liked all of the flavors and it comes out nice and thick, not runny. Poses as ice cream well :-) Yes, the machine's are a tad bit slow, but that seems to contribute to it being thicker, not sure how to explain my logic behind that though. Another place I have been too has very fast machines, but the yogurt is pretty runny and melts fast, seems to be related. They have lots of toppings to choose from, the combination that is now my very favorite is: vanilla and cherry yogurt, more vanilla than cherry, then add slivered almonds, real raspberries, dark chocolate truffles, raspberry drizzle, and nuttela. I did notice that it's fairly pricey, but it's nice they have rewards cards. So far they are the best out of the ones I have tried in the area on all levels. Just for perspective, for the combination I mentioned above, I have filled up a 16oz cup for just about 5.50$, obviously that can vary depending on how much more of each item you put in, since it goes by weight. They do have little bite sized sample cups which are FABULOUS, of which my 8 year old definitely appreciates as he is often unsure which flavor(s) he wants, and when you are paying premium pricing, you really want to make sure what you get isn't wasted because you didn't like it. Also, I should add, I personally like how the yogurt machines are away from the front payment area where the staff stand, it is nice to not feel like you are being watched or silently judged for all of the yogurt you may be getting or sampling haha. I really am not saying that the staff IS for sure watching/judging at other places where the machines are right up front, and I understand that the location of the machines can't necessarily be helped at other places, BUT my opinion is that this layout here provides a kind of "customer trust" that feels nice. I perceive this as more "cozy" in a way, especially with the little "nook" like area seating back there by the machines.

Best fro-yo place in CF. Lots of options for toppings and flavors. Only complaint is that it is fairly pricy.

I wanted to go out of my way and try a brand new place to review on Yelp, so I chose to go to one of the frozen yogurt self-serve places that I've never been to before. I'm familiar with self-serve froyo places, but I've never heard of (or been to) this one before. I'm happy to say that it's definitely a good place to check out your frozen yogurt! CherryBerry has adorable decorations and great seating. The decor is all red and green, and it looks cute and professional without going nuts. The seating is impressive; you could easily fit a birthday party in here with no issue. The seating options are great too. Unlike some froyo places where they only offer one type of seating, this place has a wide selection. There are single-recliner-type chairs, loveseat couches, small "modern" furniture pieces, barstools with high-up tables, and regular chairs and tables. You can choose from 3 different cup sizes. You pay per ounce and by how much you purchase, so the size of cup doesn't matter much unless you're hoping to limit yourself on how much you can end up getting. There are quite a few flavors of yogurt to choose from. Unlike other froyo places, each one of the machines gives three flavors - not two flavors plus a "twisted" version of those two flavors. The flavors themselves were okay. Nothing I was super excited to try or look at, but they had the standard chocolate and vanilla types to help me "get by". Once you've filled your own cup with yogurt, you get to pick toppings. Unlike many froyo places, this one doesn't have two huge "scoop out your topping" bars. Instead, there's little canisters with twist dials that dispense some of the toppings like sprinkles or oreo cookie crumbs. This seems a bit more sanitary (and keeps toppings split from one another), but since these topping choices are longer in a line and take up more space, I could see someone unfamiliar with the choices making it to the end of the choices and going "huh, did I miss something?" then wanting to backtrack. (I know I did. Luckily, no one else was in line) It then also has a standard "scoop your own toppings" little bar area afterwards to add on final toppings. It has most of the standard toppings including gummy things, the little bolboa things (what are those??), sprinkles, cookie dough bites, and more. Nothing that really stood out too much (aside from gummy frogs. Those were awesome - though not so practical for putting in froyo). Payment is same as usual - froyo placed on a scale and weighed then paid by ounce. BUT they do have 3 choices of spoon colors - and they're standard plastic spoons unlike some places that have stupid, flat spoons. So it was fun to match spoon colors to my toppings. (It's the little things sometimes!) And while it's not the restaurant's fault, I still feel like children are one of the biggest issues with places like this. The line moves pretty smoothly until children are involved - and then children have issues choosing what they want from the wide selection of choices. So if you're the only people in line or it's mostly adults, expect to check out pretty quickly, but children can slow down the line dramatically pretty quickly. (That's about the same in all "customize-your-own" food places though) Final Thoughts: Great, put-together little froyo place. Love the decor. Not very impressed or as fond of the froyo flavors or the topping choices, though, but they have the standard ones that you can expect to get most places.

At first I wasn't real impressed. Concrete floors made my first impression seem cheap. They had lots of cute seating though. Vinyl couches, bar stools and even a corner with a little short table for kids. They have 18 flavors of yogurt. Lots of fruit flavors which I don't care for but several fun flavors. I got salted caramel pretzel and cheese cake tuxedo. The yogurt machines were not very fast to dispense and the one sounded like it was dying as it ran. They didn't have any sample cups accessible you had to ask for them which wasn't convenient since the fro yo machines were quite a ways away from the register. They had some really cute toppings dispensers that you turned the handle and it portioned out the toppings. They didn't work real well and were hard to turn. I have up on a couple of them as I got a few chocolate chips to come put and then it jammed up and I couldn't get it to turn again. It also seemed messy as there were toppings all over the floor and the staff was trying to sweep them up. The staff was super nice. They signed me up for a rewards card. The shocking part was $14 for two bowls! Yikes. Sure they were full only because you give a seven year old a bowl and he's going to fill it up. I was really pleased with the taste of the yogurt. Good flavor and not too tangy as some fro yo is. I may be back. But since there is another place up the road I love more it may not happen.
